In summer 2009, YPEF Services Ltd undertook a major piece of research into “The state of Enterprise Education in Yorkshire and Humber.” The research identified that during the past five years, schools across the region have significantly developed their enterprise provision.

YPEF Services Ltd saw this as an opportunity to further develop enterprise education in the region’s secondary schools, encouraging teachers to take ownership of their enterprise projects by applying for matched funding of up to £2,000 from “The Enterprise Enhancement Fund”.  In total, The Enterprise Enhancement Fund has assisted 83 schools with over 15,000 young people taking part in enterprise activities across the region.

This booklet provides some fantastic examples of the activities which schools carried out and how they are helping to develop enterprising skills of young people.
