INSPIRE Bradford - Primary Enterprise Champion Training

Bradford Primary School teachers are getting the opportunity to attend ‘inspire’ teacher training days that will help prepare them to deliver enterprising activities within their own school curriculum as their schools enterprise champion.

42 teachers from 34 primary schools across the whole district (teachers from all 5 localities) attended the inaugural event on Tuesday March 9th 2010.

The Inspire programme is running as a partnership between CBMDC’s Step Up Enterprise programme and Rotherham Ready, who have successfully rolled the programme out for the past few years in Rotherham, and recently Hull. Part of the training is delivered by enterprising primary pupils from a school in Rotherham!

The Inspire training day will involve teachers from Bradford’s Primary schools and ultimately aims to engage their young people in developing enterprise skills. The programme is developing personal skills such as creativity and risk management and opening young people’s eyes to the diversity of enterprise…
