Just the Job!

The ‘Just the Job’ Scheme aims to introduce Year 6 pupils from inner city Leeds schools to the World of Work through experiencing a wide range of job opportunities and positive role models in employment. 

The programme aims to introduce pupils at an early age to the range of skills required across the labour market and helps pupils begin to understand the range of companies and opportunities available in Leeds whilst raising aspirations.

The scheme is now in its 6th year and has been sponsored in the past by The Yorkshire Bank. In 2008, Asda is sponsoring the Just the Job scheme in Leeds.

One memorable visit was hosted by Yorkshire Forward.
