Mini enterprise operated as an extra-curricular activity at the request of the Parents’ Association supported and monitored by the Business Studies and Music Departments.
Soccer Enterprise Challenge
The Stockmarket Challenge
A full day of activities have been for Year 7 students based on the following themes:
Citizenship - discussion groups / group work / video
Design Technology – baking and selling fair-trade products
Business Studies / ICT – marketing techniques promoting the school’s fair-trade Café Mamba.
Geography – trading game to demonstrate inequalities of trade
ICT – internet activities and links to poverty in the 3rd world
Extend Design Technology community enterprise project to other textile teaching groups in Year 9.
