Building Blocks for the Future is an innovative 1 day training model developed by Rotherham Ready, the UK’s leading enterprise project, which explores the skills and techniques needed to bring local businesses and the expertise of staff into classrooms across Rotherham.

Rotherham Ready is pleased to announce an exciting new training opportunity for local businesses and staff in Rotherham.

From early years to Further Education students, this training model will help entrepreneurs and businesses across Rotherham, unpick the keys to success in working with young people and developing enterprise skills in the classroom. Rotherham schools and students are crying out for the inside story on how to work in industry, exploring the ever-changing world of work and the job roles available and so with this training, Rotherham businesses can learn how to effectively share their backgrounds and expertise, which are priceless to our future generations, and leave the day equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver innovative and effective sessions with students across the borough.

This first of its kind training day, will be delivered in Rotherham on 14th May and will unpick how to deliver effective presentations in the classroom and what makes a positive workshop experience. Tailored to individual needs, every delegate will complete the day with a template of a workshop they would feel comfortable to deliver as well as key notes on how to deliver an exciting and interactive presentation.
