Rotherham is acknowledged nationally and internationally as a centre for excellence in enterprise learning.
Now Rotherham Ready, the children and young people's enterprise project, is bringing together the borough's leading practitioners to celebrate a movement that is changing the face of teaching and learning.
‘Made in Rotherham 2010' is a free exhibition of innovative enterprise learning from 4 - 19. It will include practitioner led workshops, an enterprise learning market place led by children and young people, and an exciting keynote speaker (TBC).
You will be able to choose from the following workshops
• Inspiring Learning - enterprise driving the primary curriculum
• The Five A's of Enterprise - principles to inspire secondary teaching and learning
• Inspire ITT - putting enterprise into Initial Teacher Training (FE and HE)
• A Special approach to enterprise - special schools and enterprise
There will also be also specific Early Years Training running alongside the day from 9-12. Delegates from outside Rotherham can attend this training, but would need to cover the costs of the resource, which is £30.
