Are you Ready? Rotherham Ready Annual Conference on 28 June 2011

Tuesday 28 June at Magna, Rotherham

Recently crowned the ‘Most Enterprising Place in Britain’, Rotherham is internationally recognised for its achievements in creating a culture of enterprise. Rotherham Ready, the children and young people’s enterprise programme, has created a unique approach to preparing the town’s young people for the challenges and opportunities of life in the 21st Century.
Now Rotherham Ready is inviting you to its national conference where young people, teachers and entrepreneurs will be demonstrating the secrets of the town’s success.
This year the conference includes a key note speech from Phil Beadle from Channel 4’s ‘The Unteachables.’ Also taking the stage will be teen author and entrepreneur Sabirul Islam. Children and young people will be leading an exciting enterprise learning market (bring your money!), and there will also be a chance to quiz the team who made Rotherham ‘The Most Enterprising Place in Britain.’
Are you ready to experience what enterprise really has to offer?
Visit Rotherham Ready as part of the RMBC Children’s Festival on June 28th, 9.45am – 3.00pm at Magna, Rotherham. Registration and coffee on the morning from 9.15am.
Places are FREE but limited – so if you haven’t already registered for the enterprise event of the year email: michelle.trench@rotherham.gov.uk to sign up now.
