Create your Future (CYF) took place on 15th November 2010, during Global Entrepreneurship Week and also during the very first York Business Week.  CYF is a key conference for Creative and Cultural Practitioners offering a unique opportunity to meet creative and cultural local businesses, organisations, networks and support agencies in York and North Yorkshire.

The 10th anniversary of the Sheffield Hallam Enterprise and Innovation Dinner 2010 was held on 31st September 2010, and was an opportunity to celebrate Sheffield Hallam University’s new and existing entrepreneurs.

The Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership are pleased to announce its line up for the seventh National Enterprise Week in November 2010 as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week the main sponsors of which are Hull City Council, Business Link and Yorkshire Forward and the Co-operative Group which will be facilitated by Force – 7 as part of their work as Hull’s Youth Enterprise Development Company and Hull Training.

Nathan Bestwick won the first prize of £5,000 while Jessica Flinn won second place with £2,000.

The last day before the summer half-term was a little more chaotic than normal for seven teams of budding Year 9 engineers from Bradford Schools.

Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership (HYEP) was set up to contribute to Hull’s target of creating 1,200 new businesses over the 15 years to 2016, and to encourage young people to become more enterprising

Johnathan Gallagher and Katherine Moss set up their multimedia design agency, Kooji Creative, with a £1,000 grant while Katherine was studying at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2004. Kooji produce specialist flash websites, interactive media and graphic design. 

Yorkshire Forward aims to promote graduate retention across the region in all aspects of its work.
