Rotherham Ready has secured funding to roll out aspects of it’s innovative Primary Enterprise programme in Hull. Funded by Yorkshire Forward through YPEF, Hull Ready was launched last year during National Enterprise Week and has already had a big impact on Hull primary schools.


Enterprise Week is an annual UK-wide week of activities, events and inspiration for young people. In 2008 for the first time Enterprise Week went Global!


Make £5 Blossom is an initiative launched by Rotherham Ready through which thousands of South Yorkshire pupils have been notching up profits with enterprises set up with a loan of £150 from local businesses. 


Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership (HYEP) was set up to contribute to Hull’s target of creating 1,200 new businesses over the 15 years to 2016, and to encourage young people to become more enterprising

The ‘Just the Job’ Scheme aims to introduce Year 6 pupils from inner city Leeds schools to the World of Work through experiencing a wide range of job opportunities and positive role models in employment.
