The last day before the summer half-term was a little more chaotic than normal for seven teams of budding Year 9 engineers from Bradford Schools.


AT just 14-years-old, Bronwyn Wilson can boast she is one of Hull’s youngest and most promising entrepreneurs. The youngster, from west Hull, set up her accessories business Crazy Critters last October.


The students of Freeston Business and Enterprise College in Normanton co-ordinated an 80s themed fashion show extravaganza, Eight Oh! Lets Go! earlier this month and raised around £2,000 for Breast Cancer Care.

One of the region’s most prestigious business competitions took place on 17th June in Hull. Hosted by P&O Ferries, the Young Enterprise Company Programme Innovation Awards was held on the Pride of Rotterdam, showcasing the business acumen of the region’s entrepreneurs of the future.


Young People’s Enterprise Forum (YPEF) sponsored the AMP Awards (Association of Music and Enterprise) with a £1,000 grant from the Embedding Enterprise Education Programme.


Pupils from St.Catherine’s Primary School and Birkdale School in Sheffield have impressed some of the UK’s leading business brains to be crowned winners of Make Your Mark with a Tenner 2010.
