“Enterprise and entrepreneurial behaviour are key drivers in the growth of our economy and to ensure that we exploit opportunities in the future and accelerate our regional growth it is vital that we embed a positive attitude towards enterprise in our young people” Alex McWhirter, Head of Enterprise, Yorkshire Forward

The Young People’s Enterprise Forum was created in 2000 to lead this agenda and has a formal position in the Regional Economic Strategy.
